Jesse James Trail Ride

Bill Russell, oldest living grandson of “Wash” Russell, is preparing to ride “shotgun” on the stagecoach that was featured and filmed in the March 25, 2006 event.

The elderly Russell is still an active carpenter and had no problems when climbing up on top.

The “bandits” that robbed the stagecoach a few miles down the Old Kilborne Road said they were a little scared of “Uncle” Bill having that shotgun, he is well known for being a crack shot.

However, the mock robbery was pulled off without a hitch and the filming was perfect for a promotional documentary by Walker-Wyatt.
