"Wild, Wild, Mississippi:"
Note:
Correction - Bass property was rented to Younger, not James. However, Jason James and David Poole were with Younger in Louisiana at this time. (1863
Correction - J. Frank (Dalton) was shot in Louisiana and carried to a plantation near Natchez. The family that knew James came from Hillsboro, but their home was burned by Sherman's troops and they moved closer to the Mississippi River. (showcased in upcoming second book of "Chasing Rivers, Trains, and Jesse James".)

The Mississippi Connection
Still standing. The old hosme where J. Frank Dalton (Jesse James) recouperated. One of the dashing officers that befriended Jesse James (seen below). The love of country, the South, horses, and gambling made a strong bond between the "Captain" and Jesse James.
