From Carthage to Grandbury, author, Reggie Anne Walker-Wyatt finds information about J. Frank Dalton

Grandbury, Texas
Carthage, Texas
Dalton relatives relate he was Jesse James.

Grandbury, Texas
A Saloon where John Wilkes Booth is supposed to have worked as a bartender. Booth is another mystery of history.

Reggie Anne Walker-Wyatt was born in Winnfield, Louisiana and reared by her maternal Grandparents, Andrew and Lois Jenkins.

Andrew Jenkins was a railroad engineer and served as a representative for railroad unions in the 1950s.

This connection to the railroad offered travel to Jenkins.  His own personal desire to show his family the beauty of America exposed a young Reggie Anne to some real American history.

These summer travels also included a trip in 1952 to Meremec Caverans in Stanton, Missouri.  J. Frank Dalton had been there 18 months earlier.  It is very probable that the J. Frank Dalton story was etched early in the mind of the young future writer.

Reggie Anne Walker-Wyatt is an artist, photographer, writer, with a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice.

In 1998, a poem and photo combination of the artist was selected
by the reigning Goodwill Ambassador and beauty queen, Mrs. International, Jeannie Wertle and presented to the Prime Minister of Singapore as representative of Louisiana.

Her subjects and topics are usually historic in nature and pay high
tribute to the pioneer spirit of America.

The author has won numerous contests with her art and poetry
examples and shown her photography in a variety of culture centers, libraries, and old Depot Museums across the state.
